New Tiled Roof with replacement Battons / upvc dry verge caps
One of the issues when dealing with older buildings throughout Yorkshire involves the need to repair and/or replace their roofing on occasion. Not only will this extend the lifespan of the entire structure, but it can help to prevent potentially serious damage from occurring during inclement weather. The team at High Design was recently asked to undertake a project involving the complete replacement of an existing roof. However, other elements needed to be attended. We were required to employ new battens as well as to install UPC dry verge caps (elements intended to prevent water from entering into an open roof slope edge). Due to the age of the structure, our team was first required to meticulously remove the existing roof tiles. Once we inspected the substructure for damage, we were then able to apply entirely new tiles. Thankfully, the entire job was completed in a timely fashion and the property owner was quite pleased with the final outcome.
