Roofing Replacement & Roofing Repair Projects
Remove Chimney Stack
Took down the stack added a frame and brought the slats across, added tiles replaced the stack with a ridge tile cut 2 inches of the gable end and added dry verges.Chimneys are common features which serve to define many homes and businesses throughout Yorkshire. Unfortunately, even the most durable of materials will succumb to the weather over time. A recent project involved removing a stack that had become damaged in such a manner; posing a risk to the underlying structure. The team at High Design Roofing decided that the best course of action was the remove the stack. We then added a supporting frame before placing a series of roofing tiles atop the exposed area. Dry verges were also included in order to provide superior levels of protection. Not only was this project completed on schedule, but the property owners were extremely pleased with the final outcome.
